Husband Asks Wife to 'Get Up' And Cook After Giving Birth To Their Baby, Internet Reacts
Viral video shows a husband arguing with his wife to cook food, oblivious of the fact that she had just delivered their baby.

We’re all familiar with the profound pain and transformation that comes with childbirth, particularly for mothers. It’s a time when everything shifts, from physical changes to new priorities, and finding equilibrium can be a journey in itself. Yet, imagine the frustration of a new mother who, only two days after giving birth, is asked by her husband to cook for his parents.

In a viral video, the husband casually requests his wife to prepare a roast, seemingly oblivious to the fact that she’s just gone through childbirth. Shocked, the wife reminds him of her recent delivery, but he dismisses her concerns, citing her discharge from the hospital as evidence that she’s perfectly fine. He goes on to complain about her apparent idleness, even pointing out mundane tasks she’s been doing around the house.

He even goes as far as nitpicking her every move, like her tea cup-emptying skills. And just when you think it can’t get any worse, he pulls out the old “I’m struggling too” card.

The argument heats up, with the wife serving up some much-needed reality checks for her hubby.

While News18 can’t confirm if this showdown was scripted or genuine, one thing’s for sure: the internet was shaken. Users were quick to call out the husband’s behaviour, with some even suggesting that the wife should consider calling it quits.

“This video is one of the main reasons why many women don’t want to have children these times. It’s just like having a child with another child. Pointless and draining,” commented one user. “He was just confused. They said rest, he thought they said roast,” quipped another. “He clearly do not know what it takes to just deliver,” expressed the third. The fourth declared, “She needs to leave him.”
