Frequent Flyer? Woman Shares Why You Should Never Drink Coffee On Plane
In the video, the woman revealed concerns about the coffee served on flights, suggesting that it might be very old or prepared in uncleaned vessels.

Flight attendant, Cierra Mistt, is quite popular on social media for sharing interesting stories and secrets about the aviation industry. From bunking in new hotels to her experience on flights, Mistt continues to treat her followers with some of her craziest stories of flight experience across her TikTok handle and YouTube channel. In a recent video going viral on social media, the flight attendant explained why she always avoids drinking tea or coffee on flights.

In one of her recent viral videos, Cierra while urging travellers to avoid any sort of hot beverages like tea or coffee suggested that they should instead purchase something from wine, spirits, beer, or soft drinks. She also explained how she and her fellow colleagues avoid hot water unless they are ‘super desperate’. “Unless we are super desperate, we don’t drink the coffee or tea that’s prepared on the plane. The water that we use for the tea and guess what? It never gets cleaned."

Despite the countless takeoffs and landings where airline staff are expected to take care of sanitation, there are a few parts that get neglected. In a short video shared on her YouTube channel, the airline employee explains that the machines that supply hot water are never cleaned.

The video shows Sierra saying, “Those who travel overnight have a habit of asking for coffee. However, the coffee is very old," further suggesting passengers either travel in first class or tip their flight attendants for a fresh cup of coffee next time.

The viral video also gained a lot of reactions from internet users.

Notably, the social media user has many other videos, sharing interesting details about her in-flight experience. Earlier, Mistt shared a video explaining why she doesn’t use toilet paper on planes. Admitting that plane bathrooms typically have poor-quality toilet paper that easily rips and dissolves upon contact, she said, “When you go to the bathroom on a plane, don’t use toilet paper. Instead, use the paper towels. It’s higher quality and it won’t rip or dissolve like the toilet paper will."

Besides that, Cierra also suggested passengers to not walk barefoot into bathrooms, warning that the liquid on the floor “might not be water all the time."

“I can promise you the liquid on the floor is not water and you do not want to be stepping in it," she said.
