Gippy Grewal’s Shinda Shinda No Papa was welcomed with a decent response upon its release earlier this month. The film marked Hina Khan’s Punjabi debut. Besides, the significant worldwide box office collections are a testament to the love showered on the film by the audience. Amid this, the popular singer and actor shared a video on his Instagram handle. It displayed a BTS clip of the song Terian Mohabbtan from his recently released film.
In the clip, we can see Grewal grooving to the tunes of Terian Mohabbtan alongside Hina Khan. The duo seemingly enjoyed their heart out while showcasing their skilled dance moves in the song. Their infectious energy and coordination in the dance clip are captivating enough. Not to miss was the Bhangra performed by Grewal.
For the song, Gippy Grewal dressed in a pink traditional Punjabi attire comprising a kurta and Tamba paired with a contrast embellished jacket, adorned with striking patterns. On the other hand, Hina Khan was every bit breathtaking in an ethereal lehenga set to complement the actor.
Directed by Amarpreet GS Chhabra, Shinda Shinda No Papa unfolds across Canada and India. The film depicts the life of Gopi, a frustrated father who takes his mischievous son, Shinda, to India to teach him discipline. However, his true intentions spark a conflict between him and his son, forming the narrative of the movie.
Besides Hina Khan, Gippy Grewal and Shinda Grewal, the film boasts a star-studded cast which includes Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Nirmal Rishi, Raghveer Boll, Jaswinder Bhalla, Guri Ghuman, Seema Kaushal and more.
Earlier, in an interview with IANS, Hina Khan mentioned that the film conveys a very strong message to the audience despite the strong comedic element. She shared, “While the film is laugh-out-loud, it also conveys a very strong message to the audience. I am very happy to be a part of a film that highlights the importance of mutual respect between parents and children.”
