New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a body has been found in swimming pool of elite Delhi Golf Club. The body of a Delhi Golf Club staff member Rahul Soni was found around 1.00 am on Wednesday.
A case has been registered by the Delhi Police against the management of Delhi Golf Club under section 304A of IPC causing death due to negligence. An FIR says Delhi Golf Club management ignored the norms for safety of using swimming pool.
Delhi Police has issued notice to Delhi Golf Club and has asked them to respond on a number of questions. They have also asked for the CCTV footage to examine the sequence of events. A detailed list list of people who visited the swimming pool in the last one month has also been sought
Delhi Golf Club has also been asked to show its license of whether it is authorised to operate a swimming pool and pub. They are also trying to find who is responsible for running the Delhi Golf Club.
Meanwhile, the family of the deceased protested outside Delhi Golf Club. They have taken the body to Allahabad after post-mortem. He belonged to Soraon, Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh.
