Uttar Pradesh Board has recently released the results of Class 10th on April 20 at 2 pm. While Prachi Nigam from Sitapur has grabbed headlines for topping the state, Kashish Pal – a resident of Jhansi – has topped in the district. She is a student of Saraswati Balika Vidya Mandir near Sant Ki Bagiya in the Datia Gate Area of Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. She scored 576 marks out of 600 and scored 96 percent. Kashish Pal’s family is celebrating her success as she has topped the Jhansi district in Class 10. Her exceptional scores earned her a warm welcome with beating drums and a shower of flowers in the school. There were tears of happiness in her eyes. The Principal of the school shared that it is the first time someone from Saraswati Balika Vidhya Mandir has topped.
The Jhansi District topper is the daughter of a private contractor and her mother is a homemaker. Upon reaching the school, she offered her teacher sweets and in return was garlanded by her. When asked about the secret to her success, she shared that it is by following the timetable.
As per Kashish Pal, she used to attend her school and coaching classes regularly. After that, she devoted about five to six hours to self-study. She shared that often she used to get bored while studying a subject, so she used to shift her focus to other subjects. She shared that now she wishes to top her class 12th boards as well. She aspires to prepare for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and become an IAS.
Ashish Kumar secured second place as the district topper of Jhansi by securing 95.83 percent. He got 575 marks out of 600 and is a student of Gyan Sthali Public Inter College, Shivaji Nagar, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. Pratibha Kushwaha also secured second place and secured 95.83 percent. She too scored 575 marks out of 600 and is a student at Saraswati Gyan Mandir Inter College, Orai.
